If you are looking forward to the total lunar eclipse, also known as Chandra Gragan, then here is some news for you. Capturing the true essence of the infamous ‘Blood Moon’, not one but four locations in Lucknow are prepared to help you witness this rare celestial spectacle on November 8. According to reports, 91% of the blood moon in Lucknow will be visible at the peak time i.e 05:16 PM.

Where to witness Lunar Eclipse in Lucknow 

The Indira Gandhi Planetarium will be installing three telescopes each at four locations namely - Panchvati Ghat, Ahimardan Patalpuri Hanuman Mandir, Near Laxman Teela and Pakka Pul in Chowk.

The lunar eclipse will last in Lucknow for 63 minutes and will be visible between from 05:16 PM to 06:19 PM. According to officials, it will be visible to the naked eye also. 

Reportedly, this will be the last full lunar eclipse (Chandra Grahan) for almost 3 years. The next total lunar eclipse will be witnessed in 2025, however, a partial eclipse may occur in 2023.
