Imagine you wake up in the morning tomorrow and read about McDonald shutting all its outlets in the city. That would be dreadful right? However, saying good bye to your favourite crispy fries, brownies, and burgers might be a real thing. And before it happens, there is still some time left for you to indulge in the cheesy Mc Burgers and crispy Mc fries for one last time.

The news that has been making rounds in the financial world, is that everything is not well between McDonald India and Cannaught Plaza Restaurant Limited, as they have terminated the franchise agreement for 169 outlets in North and East India. The legal battle is on and chances are that all McD outlets of Lucknow, that come directly under the CPRL, will shut completely from Friday i.e 8th September. Yes, that’s true, no more Happy Meals and Aloo Tikki burgers from today, Luknowites!

Ever since the first McD set its foot in the Wave Mall here, it has been the preferred place for value meals comprising burgers, fries, coffee and the cool toys (Do you remember how you used to convince your parents to buy happy meals?). Normally when something like this happens, there are alternatives that people can shift to. So when McD makes an exit, where do we go?

So, guys, the clock is ticking and before the shutters are down, go and grab your favourite meal for one last time. Stores will remain open till 11pm and this is your last chance as McD might wind up their entire business from North and East India, which includes big cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh. Also, do keep a check on News as an important decision regarding McD outlets would be taken by National Company Law Appellate Tribunal
