In a green initiative, CCS Airport in Lucknow gets a new EV Charging facility

The fast EV charging station is located in the parking area near Terminal 2 of CCSI Airport.

With the recent nationwide advancements towards reducing carbon emissions by promoting electric transportation alternatives, various public and private bodies are now coming forward to bolster EV initiatives by assembling the necessary infrastructure.

Contributing to the same, the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCS Airport) of Lucknow has set up a dedicated EV charging facility, which is now operational.

EV station has a capacity to charge around 30 vehicles within 24 hours

The EV charging facility at the airport has been established by Adani Total Gas Limited. The dedicated EV charging station, located in the parking area near Terminal-2 of CCS Airport facilitates fast charging of electric vehicles with a capacity to charge around 30 vehicles within 24 hours.

This station is equipped with two 60-kW CCS 2 type gun chargers, allowing for simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles.

Furthermore, users can download the EV App provided by Adani Total Gas Limited (available on both Android and iOS platforms) to access the charging station.
