Popularly known as the Taramandal Show, Indira Gandhi Planetarium hosts science and astronomy shows, displays 3D models of Indian satellites and conducts exhibitions too. While the foundation for this planetarium was laid in 1988, it was finally opened to the public in 2003.

Visitors can upgrade their knowledge about renowned Indian scientists like Aryabhatt and Varahamihira, among others, with the diverse data available here. Further, the 3D space show will take you through a virtual trip of gorgeous galaxies as you float amidst the stars. The building complex which is surrounded by a pool of water, boasts of striking architecture which signifies the solar system, thereby, giving it an otherworldly aura!
