Contributing to green mobility and a cleaner environment, UPSRTC along with a private firm, is set to roll out 50 air-conditioned electric buses for intercity travel. These new e-buses will provide connectivity on five major UP routes, including Lucknow to Ayodhya and Kanpur. These buses are expected to be launched this year.

Reportedly, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed this Monday, between the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) and M/s RG Mobility for the operation of these eco-friendly buses. Under the agreement, RG Mobility will establish charging stations and other necessary infrastructure at designated depots within the next five months.
