Khelo India University Games UP | Official logo launched in an electrifying ceremony at IGP Lucknow

The Jupiter Hall in Lucknow's Indira Gandhi Pratishthan played host to the exhilarating Khelo India University Games Uttar Pradesh 2023 logo launch ceremony on May 5. Apart from the official logo, the event also featured the launch of the games' mascot, anthem and jersey by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The 2-hour event also featured 3D displays, cultural performances 

Four torch relays were also flagged off at the grand launch of KIUG 2023 official logo, each scheduled to travel through four different regions of Uttar Pradesh for the next 20 days, until the games start on May 25, 2023.

It is noteworthy that this year's Khelo India University Games in UP are inspired by the ideology of Kaushal (Skill), Neeti (Strategy) and Dhairya (Patience). Furthermore, the 10-day sporting event will feature a whopping 7500 Under-27 athletes, representing universities from across the country.

Games will be held in 4 cities across Uttar Pradesh

The state of Uttar Pradesh has made a slew of preparations to make Khelo India University Games a mega-hit including help desks for athletes at railway stations, bus stations and airports. In addition to that, security measures have also been readied for the games which will be held in 4 UP cities.

The volunteers and technical staff that will be present at the venues are also being trained to equip them with the necessary skills to ensure hiccup-free Khelo India University Games in Uttar Pradesh.
