Knocksense Shorts | 22k+ CCTV cameras linked to Lucknow Police Control Room to boost surveillance

Expanding surveillance across the city, a total of 22,209 CCTV cameras in Lucknow have been linked to the Police control room. This initiative has been undertaken under 'Operation Trinetra'. The goal of the said operation is to bring the entire city under CCTV surveillance to curb crime and enhance security.

It is noteworthy that this initiative is not limited to urban areas. In fact, 5,370 cameras have also been mapped in the rural areas of Lucknow. The Lucknow Police control room will now get the feeds from the entry and exit points of a number of villages populating these areas.
