Knocksense Shorts | Board the MEMU Special Train to travel from Lucknow to Ayodhya

If you're planning on travelling from Lucknow to Varanasi or Ayodhya and back, you now have another train for your commute. The Varanasi-Ayodhya-Lucknow MEMU Special has begun its operations and will ply every day till April 20.

With an average speed of 62.18 kms per hour, the 323-km long MEMU Special will take 5.2 hours to reach its destination, thus, saving time, as compared to other trains of the same route that take 8-10 hours.

The MEMU Special 04217 departs from Varansi at 6:25 AM and covers Babatpur, Jaunpur Junction, Shahganj, Akbarpur, Ayodhya Dham, Rudauli, Daryabad before reaching Lucknow at 11:45 AM. On the other hand, the 04218 MEMU Special leaves from Lucknow at 4:30 PM, includes Barabanki, Daryabad, Rudali, Ayodhya Dham (6:41 PM), Akbarpur, Shahganj, Jaunpur Junction, Babatpur, reaching Varanasi (at 9:50 PM), on its journey.
