Knocksense Shorts | Breath analyzers installed at Lucknow Zoo to ensure safety for workers

Aditya Vikram

In an attempt to ensure that the zoo staff does not arrive on duty in an intoxicated state, new breath analyzers have been installed at the Lucknow Zoo. The move is an attempt by the authorities to make sure that the zoo staff remains safe whenever they enter the enclosure of any of the animals housed in the facility.

It is noteworthy that one of the contractual workers at Lucknow Zoo was recently killed by a hippopotamus while working in the isolation enclosure. As a result, the zoo authorities want to leave no stone unturned to ensure that such an incident is not repeated in the future.
