Knocksense Shorts | First leg of Khelo India Women's Rugby League kicks off in Lucknow

The league will be played in three different categories.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Sports Authority of India, and Rugby India have come together to conduct the 1st edition of the Khelo India Women's Rugby League. The said league will be conducted across 10 Indian cities and the games will be played in 3 different age categories.

The first leg of the league kicked off at the Guru Gobind Singh Sports College in Lucknow, today. With 336 participants, the first leg will be played across two days. The three age categories in which the matches will be held include Sub Junior Girls (Under-14), Junior Girls (Under-18), and Senior Women.
