After 627 cases reported in the state on Wednesday, there has been a slight dip in fresh COVID cases in UP with 510 new infections on Thursday. The test positivity rate, which stood at 1.63% yesterday, has come down to 1.50%, while the active cases tally in the state has also receded from 3,874 to 3,550.

A total of 830 patients have recovered from the infection in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours with 121 patients recovering in the state capital. Currently, the active COVID cases tally in Lucknow stands at 647 with 66 new cases reported on Thursday.

Notwithstanding the slight dip in cases across the state, residents have been advised to follow all COVID protocols and get themselves tested promptly, in case they notice any symptoms.
