Knocksense Shorts | Hazratganj cleared of street vendors for G20 Summit, UP-GIS events

Vendors have temporarily been removed from various areas of Hazratganj 10 days ahead of G20 and UP-GIS events.

Various parts of the city are now being revamped and beautified owing to the upcoming G20 Summit and UP Global Investors Summit events. The foreign and domestic delegates who have been invited to the events will also visit various important sights of the city during a heritage walk tour.

For this, street vendors in and around Hazratganj are being removed from the vending zones, temporarily. Vendors have been removed from Park Road, Rana Pratap Marg, Dalibagh, Darul Shafa and other 5 adjacent routes for 10 days.

LMC's Zone-1 Zonal Officer, Narendra Dev Verma said, "The street vendors reached a consensus to temporarily refrain from conducting business till February 15th during a meeting held two days prior".
