On account of surging temperatures, the district administration has revised school timings for classes 1-8. In the Uttar Pradesh capital, changed timings for all school students of these classes will be 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM. These will be implemented from today, that is July 26, announced District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar. All Lucknow schools have been directed to strictly adhere to these revised timings.

Schools will operate on the changed timings until further orders. Moreover, teachers in the admin and management departments of schools will stay back and work for another hour after classes.

Even though weather had turned slightly pleasant in Lucknow, humidity has soared yet again, bringing discomfort and heat-related problems for the city-ites.
