Knocksense Shorts | India's first Telecom Centre of Excellence to come up in UP's Saharanpur

Uttar Pradesh will soon be home to India's first Telecom Centre of Excellence, which will come up at the IIT Roorkee campus in Saharanpur. The center will focus on devising ways to connect artificial intelligence with 5G and enabling a swift and seamless launch of 6G in India.

To be built at a cost of ₹30 crores, this new centre of excellence in UP will not only boost innovation but also provide employment opportunities for the state's youth. The foundation stone for the centre will be laid by the Chief Minister on December 5.
