Knocksense Shorts | KGMU to run 14-day blood donation camp & offer free blood to O+, B+ patients

The blood donation camp will run from June 14 (8 am) to June 28 (8 pm).

To mark the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Lucknow's prestigious King George's Medical College (KGMU), in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Department, is organising a 14-day blood donation camp.

The said camp will be offering free blood for O+ and B+ patients at KGMU's Gandhi ward, related hospitals to KGMU and other government hospitals till June 28. Aiming at tackling emergency situations, the camp will have arrangements for patients with blood groups O positive and B positive, even if the donors are not present/available.

Anyone in need of the aforementioned blood types will have to fill the application form to apply and get it signed and sealed by the chief medical officer/chief resident officer.

The same will run from June 14 (8 am) to June 28 (8 pm).
