If you haven't paid your electricity bill for a long time, it's essential to promptly submit your pending dues, as Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) is maintaining strict vigilance against defaulters.

Recently, the authority announced that teams will be dispatched to remove meters and disconnect the power supply from houses where the electricity bill hasn't been paid for a duration of 5 months or more. The detached meters will be analyzed by LESA, and the bill will be sent to the households accordingly. Furthermore, these users will be required to apply for a new connection and pay additional fees to reconnect the power supply in their houses.

The authority has already collected a comprehensive database of defaulters around the town, and stringent action will be taken against them with immediate effect.
