In recent days, Lucknow and other UP cities have been grappling with the adverse effects of scorching heat, as maximum temperatures soar above the 40°C mark. The prevailing conditions have subjected the region to blistering hot loo winds and persistently dry and dusty weather which have further intensified the challenges faced by residents.

Reportedly, as per the most recent forecast from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a much-needed relief is on the horizon for the state capital of Lucknow and other UP cities.

IMD has officially issued a yellow alert for the period spanning from May 25-28, indicating the likelihood of thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds.

In addition, several areas within the city already experienced mild rainfall this morning, accompanied by cool weather conditions that have enveloped Lucknow in its entirety.
