Sagar Purswani

Providing relief to school students amid intensely low temperatures and heavy fog in Lucknow, timings for students of classes 1 to 8 have been changed. Lucknow District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar ordered all the schools in the district to adopt revised timings from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, between December 21 to 31.

In response to the season's first intense fog, which was reported on the night of December 18, the district's schools were ordered to adopt revised timings. All council-aided, recognized, board schools in the district have had their schedules modified and are awaiting further decisions on whether to extend the shortened schedules beyond December 31.

To verify the notification, school administration, parents and students can visit the district's official website.
