Knocksense Shorts | Lucknow's Butler Palace Lake to be revamped soon

With the budget approval for cleaning, the lake is all set to be rejuvenated soon.

The historic Butler Palace Lake of Lucknow is set to receive a facelift very soon, as the Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Roshan Jacob has directed the LDA officials to start the reconditioning work immediately.

Dr. Jacob examined the Butler Palace Lake and the Gomti Riverfront park along with LDA Vice Chairman Indramani Tripathi this Friday. With the budget of ₹5 crores approved from the LDA fund, the work on the reconditioning of the lake will begin very soon.

The DC also directed the officials to keep a check on the quality of water and to redevelop the island in the middle of the lake.

Furthermore, instructions were passed for the redevelopment and upgradation of the the Gomti Riverfront park.
