Lucknow's COVID surge doesn't seem to catch any respite, with the city reporting consistent numbers of active cases in the past few days. On Sunday, the UP capital recorded 64 new cases, which has pushed the active case tally to 514 in the city.

Out of the total, Alambagh CHC reported the highest number of cases with 16, followed by 11 in Aliganj, 10 in Indira Nagar, 9 in Chinhat, 8 in Sarojini Nagar and 4 in Turiyaganj. The rest of the cases were found in various other parts of the city.

However, Lucknow also witnessed 69 recoveries in the past 24 hours, with the city screening an average of 3,000 patients per day for COVID-19 infection. Moreover, the overall case count in Uttar Pradesh has slightly decreased, with a total of 352 patients testing positive across all districts.
