Knocksense Shorts | Music competitions to bring together UP cities

In the first stage, the government has planned to conduct music competitions at the village, panchayat, and tehsil levels between Dec 25-30.

With the aim of offering a platform to classical and folk artists from the state while actively promoting the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh, the state government has initiated music competitions. Scheduled to take place from December 25 to January 26, these contests are part of the 'Uttar Pradesh Parv: Humari Sanskriti-Humari Pehchan' program.

In the first stage, the government has planned to conduct music competitions at the village, panchayat, and tehsil levels between December 25 to 30. Subsequently, the chosen participants will compete during district-level competitions from January 1 to 5.

Similarly, the shortlisted contenders will advance to compete at the state level in Lucknow from January 10 to 15. Finally, the winners will then have the opportunity to showcase their talent at the UP Festival scheduled for January 23. Those willing to participate in the events will be allowed to register online and on the spot.
