In light of the ongoing work on the Manaknagar station, New Delhi-Lucknow Swarna Shatabdi Express has been operating on a diverted route for the past two weeks. This Wednesday, the train departed by a delay of more than four hours from the New Delhi station and arrived five hours late in Lucknow because of the route diversion.

Reportedly, the train timing is expected to be delayed by an hour for Friday as it will depart at 7:10 AM instead of 6:10 AM from New Delhi and reach Lucknow by 1:50 PM. The Swarna Shatabdi Express is expected to follow its original route from Saturday.
