Students at Lucknow University (LU) will now be permitted to pursue two different degree courses at the same time. The decision for the implementation of this move was taken this Tuesday by the admission committee of the university.

The decision which has been taken by the university, is in line with the University Grant Commission's (UGC) approval towards a similar proposal. Furthermore, as per UGC's guidelines for allowing students to pursue two courses, one of the two programs has to be in regular mode while another one must be either of open or distance learning formats.
