Owing to the persistent increase in temperature and consequent heatwave conditions, schools in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow and Kanpur will remain operational with revised timings.

As per the new schedule, classes from grades 1 to 8 will commence at 7:30 am and conclude at 12:30 pm, while classes from grades 9 to 12 will begin at 7:30 am and conclude at 1:30 pm.

The revised schedule for UP schools will be applicable for all types of schools, including primary, pre-primary, government-run and private schools.
