Due to the ongoing civic work in the vicinity of Kukrail Bridge, located between Mahanagar and Shakti Nagar areas in Lucknow, there appears to be significant traffic congestion along this stretch. This is a result of the ongoing deployment of police personnel tasked with facilitating the evacuation of the Akbar Nagar slum in the vicinity.

Commuters using this route are strongly advised to avoid the Kukrail Bridge throughout the day. Instead, consider the following alternative routes:

  • Commuters travelling from Mahanagar to Indira Nagar are recommended to navigate through the PSE area in Mahanagar. From there, proceed towards the new Kukrail Bridge and continue straight to reach Mina Market, A block in Indira Nagar.

  • For vehicles arriving from Gomti Nagar via the New Kukrail flyover and heading towards Indira Nagar, it is advised to continue straight upon exiting the flyover, proceed straight, and take a right turn towards the Mina Market route.

  • Similarly, vehicles originating from Gomti Nagar via the flyover and heading towards Mahanagar should proceed straight after descending from the flyover. Continue straight, make a left turn, and head towards PSE via the New Kukrail Bridge to reach their intended destination.
