Stadiums in all UP districts will now remain open 7 days a week. The move will not only help players continue with seamless practice but will also benefit those find time for recreational activities only on weekends i.e. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Referring to the decision, UP's Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Sports, Navneet Sehgal stated, "UP stadium employees will be available on Sundays for regulation and management, against which they will get leaves during the weekdays on a rotational basis."
