June is the hottest month of each year in Lucknow for the past four years consecutively.

Lucknow‘s power network is currently pushing to it’s max as the intense heat has triggered demand for more power. Subsequently, on June 13, Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) recorded the highest electricity surge in Lucknow in last four years. 

According to LESA, Lucknow registered 1688.93 MW of power demand with maximum load in Gomti Nagar of 183.40 MW, followed by 130 MV at Mehtab Bagh and 113MV at Kanpur Road substation. The previous records of maximum power load are 1644 MW in June 2022, 1339MV in June 2021 and 1247 June 2020. It can rightly be said that June is the hottest month of each year in Lucknow for the past four years consecutively.
