Knocksense Shorts | Traffic diversions issued in Lucknow for President's two-day visit to the city

Those going to the airport will also face several diversions on their route.

Given the President's two-day visit to Lucknow from Monday, traffic diversions and restrictions have been issued across the city. As part of the restrictions from 10 AM on Monday, all traffic arriving from Shaheed Path will be shifted to Kanpur Road, being diverted towards Old Chungi Tiraha, Piccadilly, and Barabirwa intersection.

Check out the remaining restrictions below:

  • Traffic from Sultanpur Road towards Shaheed Path will be diverted towards Arjunganj market.

  • Those taking the Picup bridge trisection will not be allowed to take the Vijaynagar underpass or the Kathauta intersection route.

  • Traffic to Kathauta from Chinhat will be diverted towards Polytechnic.

  • Traffic to Raj Bhawan from Bandariya Bagh will be diverted to the LBS trisection.

  • Vehicles going towards the airport will also face several diversions along the way.
