The Uttar Pradesh tourism department is preparing to promote the state as a global wedding and film tourism destination. This decision has been taken leading up to the 2nd edition of the 3-day Global Destinations Expo and Conference (GDEC), which will start in Gautam Buddha Nagar from Friday.

At the said expo, the UP tourism department will have the chance to connect with over 500 event organizers (both global and domestic), along with hundreds of industry leaders. This will be the perfect stage to pitch UP's potential of becoming the next big thing in destination weddings and films.
