Owing to the high demand from passengers travelling home for the festive season, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will operate an increased number of buses in the state from October 20 to 25. This move aims to accommodate the growing number of passengers in various state districts and boost the government corporation's revenue.

Besides this, the authority has decided to reduce the passenger fare of their Rajdhani buses by 10% for improving their usability. UPSRTC's Rajdhani Buses serve as a vital link connecting all 75 districts of the state to the capital, Lucknow.
