Knocksense shorts | UPSRTC to start free bus service for women on Raksha Bandhan

The festival of Rakhi is right around the corner, and siblings everywhere are ready to mark this day with much excitement. To commemorate and celebrate the festival, UPSRTC announced a free bus service for women passengers on all the UPSRTC buses.

Reportedly, the free service will be made available for all the women travelling across the country by UPSRTC bus from August 10, midnight till August 12, midnight.

This is not the first time that such an initiative has been taken up by the state transport service, UPSRTC has been providing free travel service to women passengers on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan for the past several years now.
