LU signs MoU with Google and Meta to build The Bharat Lab on university campus

Aiming for inclusive growth and informed decision making, Lucknow University (LU) has tied knot with Google and Meta. Together they plan to study behaviour of consumers living in tier 2-3 cities of India with the help of The Bharat Lab, which will be assembled on the institute campus.

Through this initiative, Lucknow University strives to understand the habits of consumers and promote inclusivity in market research and development.

Consumer data to be used for growth of businesses

The main motive behind The Bharat Lab is to unite corporate entities such as Google and Meta and gather detailed information about the desires and spending habits of consumers in tier 2 and 3 cities, which make up a large portion of Indian population. With the acquire information, LU will be able to gain better understanding of the needs, preferences, and behavioural trends of consumers.

Subsequently, the valuable insights obtained from this partnership will be used to stimulate innovation and support the growth of businesses that cater to the diverse needs of consumers throughout India.
