The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released some necessary guidelines and updates for passengers travelling to Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport. Due to an increase in the footfalls, AAI has alerted the passengers to arrive the Lucknow airport two and a half hours prior to the scheduled boarding time. The footfalls are expected to rise further owing to Christmas and New Year.

Additionally, international passengers catching flights from the Lucknow airport are required to reach four hours earlier. The advisory has been released to facilitate a hassle-free movement of passengers at the airport.

Additional arrangements have been made for seamless management

Reportedly, as per AAI's official statement, additional arrangements have been made in view of the recent surge in the footfall of passengers. For this, teams have been deployed at the Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) kiosk and pre-flight security screening area to guide and assist passengers.

Furthermore, a new main gate entry has been set up for seamless movement of the public with the addition of new bypass X-ray machines for better baggage handling. With this, the authorities have also boosted the utilization of the aerobridges for facilitating the passengers.
