Lucknow Airport sets new record with 6.29 lakh flyers in November 2024

The gateway to 29 domestic and 10 international destinations.

Lucknow Airport, also known as Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA), hit a new milestone this festive season, recording its highest-ever passenger traffic of 6.29 lakh, in November 2024. This includes 5.24 lakh domestic passengers and over 1.05 lakh international travellers, showcasing a 12% growth from November 2023.

New heights for Lucknow Airport

Average daily footfall increased to 21,000 passengers in 2024, compared to 18,600 last year. The month also recorded its busiest days yet, with 22,686 passengers on November 10 and an all-time high of 22,986 on November 17. Furthermore, average daily passenger flights increased to 140 in November 2024, up from 134 movements in November 2023.

In November 2024, Dubai, Muscat, and Dammam emerged as the top three international destinations from Lucknow, whilst Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru remained the leading domestic destinations. Lucknow Airport currently serves as the gateway to 29 domestic and 10 international destinations. According to officials, festive demand, combined with the addition of new flights and increased airline frequencies, made travel smoother for passengers.
