Lucknow Airport to fly 118 more flights this summer to cope with the holiday rush

The airport's summer schedule is slated be in place till October 28, during which time, more than 100 flights will be introduced.

Preparing for the holiday summer season, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow will get a lot busier with more domestic and international flights than usual. As per reports, the total number of weekly flights from the Lucknow airport will increase from 808 to 926, an increase of 118 flights.

Additional domestic flights for 7 more cities 

As per airport authorities, additional services to seven domestic destinations namely Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Delhi, Mopa (Goa) and Ahmedabad and three international flight to Bangkok, Muscat and Jeddah will be initiated.

Elaborating on the above, GoAir will add 20 additional weekly departures to Delhi, four flights to Mumbai and one to Bengaluru. Further, IndiGo will add eight weekly flights to Mumbai, five weekly flights to Bengaluru, and seven to Kolkata and Indore, respectively. Making it to the list, the newest Akasa Airline will also start one daily flight to Ahmedabad, Mopa (Goa) and Bengaluru.
