The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to transform Baudh Vihar Shanti Upvan in Alambagh into a vibrant 'Grand Literary Street.' The upcoming attraction will be a new cultural hub dedicated to the city’s literary enthusiasts.

This innovative project will feature a New Age Library in the iconic Centre Library Building, pedestrian pathways, bookstores, book cafes, seating areas, and cosy pods for an amazing literary experience. The space will be a hub for the community, regularly hosting book launches, literary fairs, and workshops.

Envisioned as the city's next major cultural landmark, the LDA is now inviting creative agencies to bid on the project's conceptualisation.

Located near Ambedkar Chauraha, this initiative aims to create a unique, interactive zone dedicated to literature and learning. The last date for bidding is November 27, 2025.
