Waiting for your bus, but your phone’s data network seems to be in transit too? Or accompanying your mother to the market where she ends up bargaining for so long, that forget your data network, even the shopkeeper has given up on you? Enough for the sad emojis, cuz through this latest development, you can now access Wi-Fi facilities in markets and selected hospitals across Lucknow.

According to smart city officials, at present, a Wi-Fi facility is being provided at all places for 30 minutes with monitoring. Wi-Fi introduction in Lucknow has been in the pipeline for way too long now but was postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. With the pandemic slowly pulling back, as part of the first phase, the facility was first started in about seven places, including some major parks and railway stations in Lucknow.
