Watch | Sale of Alcohol banned in Lucknow in wake of Legislative Council Elections

The ban will be applicable from April 7 to April 9

Ahead of the Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad) Elections, an order issued by DM Abhishek Prakash bans the sale of alcohol in the city for 3 days. A complete alcohol retail shutdown will be observed in Lucknow, from 4:00 PM on April 7 till the last day of polling on April 9. Reportedly, another one-day liquor ban will be imposed in the city on the vote-counting day, April 12.
