Lucknow's long-awaited Khurram Nagar Flyover, connecting Indira Nagar’s Sector 25 to Tedhi Puliya (near Jagrani Hospital), is now fully open to the public. Last month, one lane of the flyover was temporarily opened for limited hours to facilitate load testing. However, following the test phase, traffic movement was halted again, leading to congestion on the service lanes below.

Starting today, both lanes of the Khurram Nagar Flyover will remain fully operational, significantly easing traffic flow in the area.

Both flyovers on Polytechnic-Tedhi Puliya stretch now fully functional

Notably, construction began simultaneously on two new flyovers along the Polytechnic to Tedhi Puliya stretch: the 2.6 km long Khurram Nagar Flyover, (connecting Indira Nagar’s Sector 25 to Tedhi Puliya), and the Munshi Puliya Flyover (linking Polytechnic’s Faizabad Road to Sitapur Road in Munshi Puliya).

Together, these flyovers are designed to ease congestion and provide a seamless route for heavy vehicles, heading toward the highways. Last year, traffic movement commenced on the Munshi Puliya Flyover. Now, with the opening of the Khurram Nagar Flyover, the entire section is fully operational, ensuring smoother traffic flow in the area.
