Lucknow News | Janeshwar Mishra Park to get a sports zone ft. skating ring, jogging track & more

Janeshwar Mishra Park in Lucknow, which is among the largest in Asia, is all set to get a new sports zone. The decision has been taken by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) and details on the location and features of the new sports zone have been released.

The new sports zone will come up near Gate No. 6 of the park

The new sports zone at Janeshwar Mishra Park will be constructed near gate no.6. The zone will feature facilities for football, cricket, badminton, and lawn tennis. Apart from these facilities, the sports zone will have a new synthetic skating rink and a jogging track.

An inspection regarding the construction of the new sports zone has already been conducted by LDA officials. Furthermore, plans are also underway to give a facelift to the Begum Hazrat Mahal Park and the G20 Park and construct dedicated sports zones in other areas of the city.
