Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has begun efforts to revamp 11 key intersections across the city to improve traffic flow. This initiative aims to add aesthetic elements, including decorative structures, sculptures, and murals, and enhance the visual appeal.

To make the roads and intersections look clutter-free, LDA will relocate electric poles, traffic booths, and signals. Unauthorized encroachments and nearby parking spaces will also be cleared.

LDA has further announced the list of targeted citywide crossings on their official Twitter (x.com) handle, under this intersection improvement project. The intersections set for upgrades include:

• Narora intersection near Agra Expressway

• Koneshwar Intersection in Chowk

• Sarvodaya Nagar Trisection

• Daliganj Trisection

• Mawaiyya Trisection

• Eveready Trisection

• IIM Road Green Corridor Trisection

• Alambagh Trisection

• Madhuriama Trisection in Vibhuti Khand

• Piccadily Trisection

• Krishna Nagar Intersection

Construction has already begun at select sites, while LDA continues to survey additional intersections to finalize plans. Tenders will be issued soon to expedite development and beautification efforts across these areas.
