The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has introduced a hefty price tag for couples seeking the perfect pre-wedding shots at the iconic Janeshwar Mishra Park. The fee for pre-wedding photoshoots has been set at ₹17,000 plus GST, a significant hike from the previous requirement of just a regular entry ticket.

The 376 acre park, a favourite among photographers for its picturesque settings has been witnessing a surge in demand for various photo sessions, including engagement and birthday shoots.

Additional charges include a ₹300 fee per location change within the park. The LDA is also reviewing rates for commercial shoots, which previously commanded ₹50,000 plus security deposit. With the wedding season approaching, the authority expects bookings to commence soon under the new fee structure.
