More than a week has passed since Lucknow Police launched their 'Har Ghar Camera' campaign and a number of steps have already been taken under it. Regular workshops are being held as part of the initiative to encourage people to install CCTV cameras outside their houses, shops, and other establishments.

Foot marches are also being carried out to inspect security arrangements

Effects of the Lucknow Police campaign is already visible with many people coming forward to get CCTV cameras installed in their areas. It must be noted that these early responders have already been given certificates and recognized in an attempt to encourage more people to follow suit.

Furthermore, law and order officials have also carried out foot marches in certain sensitive and crime-prone areas of Lucknow to review security arrangements. The campaign is still going on and workshops and other efforts will continue in order to widen the surveillance in Lucknow to include even the narrowest lanes and passages in the city.
