Speaking about the upcoming initiative, District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash affirmed that the scope of immunisation has to be amplified with the introduction of new centres. This will help the city to accomplish the newly formed objective of administering 40,000 doses per day. As per the current plans, special camps will also be set up at the premises of high-rise apartments.

Vaccination camps will also be held in various high-rise apartments with the help of resident welfare associations. Further, the city officials will converge their attention on the regions with low rates of vaccination.
