Several key routes in Lucknow will experience traffic diversions today, from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm, as Bhutan's King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck visits the city for an official event. The monarch will attend functions at Hotel Taj and Raj Bhavan, prompting authorities to implement special traffic arrangements.

According to DCP Traffic, Lucknow, commuters are advised to avoid routes leading to the designated venues to ensure smooth traffic flow. However, in case of medical emergencies, ambulances, school vehicles, and other essential services will be allowed to pass through restricted areas if no alternative route is available.
