To mark the centenary year of Lucknow University, the institution has been on the receiving end of an absolute revamp. The university members have set up a treehouse, representing the covid pandemic, amidst other features in the sprawling campus, to make the event memorable. Uniform signboards have been put in place across the premises to assist students and guests to locate departments or the administrative blocks. The prime attraction of the makeover, the treehouse has been set up at the Fine Arts block and has been curated by present and graduated students.

The treehouse, placed in front of the sculpture department, has been developed from grass, twigs and branches trees, and can accommodate up to 10 individuals. The height of this tree is pegged at 8-feet and it showcases two people during a pandemic- one on the tree top and the other sitting on a lower level, maintaining a distance and having a conversation.

The notion behind curating this installation was initiated by Prof. Dharmendra Kumar, assigned with the sculpture department. According to his statement, this structure took 20 days to be completed.

As the 100th year hallmark approaches, the university is being given an alteration and the beautification activities are in full progress, which includes fresh wall paintings and putting up of LED lights. The pathways of the campus will also be modified and the green carpeting of the 'Canning College', is definitely amping up the oomph of the varsity. Visitors can also witness an organic farm here, which adds to the natural feel of this place.
