Due to the current times of the pandemic, a lot of families have suffered significantly on the financial front. While some faced problems handling medical emergencies, some others were troubled by the loss of jobs and other similar issues. In view of this, the students are demanding that the administration must do away with the exam fees. Besides, the students have also asked that the fee under other heads should be reduced.

"Some law schools and technical universities across the country have reduced the fees and students have been refunded the examination fees considering the pandemic situation." said one of the students, leading the campaign. Another student informed that the social welfare department is yet to release the scholarships for financially deprived students. Simultaneously, LU should intervene to reduce exam fees.
