Lucknow University to provide affiliation to 14 more colleges from 2023-24 session

With the addition of these colleges, LU will be able to offer 1,000 more undergraduate seats.

Adding to its list of 545 colleges, Lucknow University is all set to provide affiliation to 14 more colleges from the academic session 2023-24. With the addition of these colleges, the total number of colleges affiliated to LU will reach 559 and the university will be able to offer 1,000 more undergraduate courses seats from the new session.

10 of the 14 new colleges are in Lucknow district

Out of the 14 new colleges that will receive LU's affiliation from the new academic session, 10 are from Lucknow district while four others are located in Sitapur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Rae Bareli.

Talks are also underway to provide course affiliation to a number of colleges. In this regard, an emergency meeting has also been called as June 15 is the stipulated deadline for state universities to grant affiliation to more colleges.
