Lucknow University’s girls outshine boys; 74 girls, 22 boys set to win medals in convocation!

Time and again, women have proved themselves and emerged victorious in every field, be it sports, politics, media, academics, business, to name a few. This time, it is the girls at Lucknow University making news. LU girls have once again managed to outrank the boys by winning 84% of the medals, from a total of 179 medals, in a list released by the university.

Ayushi Kapoor of MSc (Mathematics) alone swept 12 medals. According to the list, 150 medals have gone to 74 girls, while 22 boys have only won 29 medals, creating a very big gap in between. in the list of medals to be awarded on novermber 25, Asha Tiwari from LLB has bagged a total of nine medals, Prasansha Mishra from MSc Physics, Megha Walecha from MCom, Gulshan Jahan in MA History and Ankita from MA Political Science, will be awarded with six medals each.

Girls in many other colleges and universities in Lucknow have been performing great and showing great results.
