Lucknow Weather | After a brief warm spell, colder weather set to return next week

IMD has also predicted moderate rainfall on Dec 27 and 28.

After experiencing record-breaking minimum temperatures last week, Lucknow enjoyed relatively pleasant weather this week -- thanks to warmer daytime conditions and reduced wind movement. However, this brief respite from the chill seems to be coming to an end.

According to IMD, colder conditions are expected to return, starting Monday. A low-pressure zone over the Bay of Bengal is likely to trigger chilly westerly winds across Uttar Pradesh, causing a noticeable dip in temperatures in Lucknow within the next 48 hours. In addition, moisture-laden winds are anticipated to bring moderate rainfall to the city between December 27 and 28.

As for today, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 24°C, while the minimum will drop to 9°C. The lack of wind has also resulted in moderate fog during the night and early morning hours, affecting visibility in some areas.
